Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Yung L.A. is no stranger to struggle. Like many hip hop artist, Yung L.A. has experienced disappointments, poverty, and shattered dreams. When Yung L.A. did not receive the exposure he desired during the launch of his rapping career, he turned to selling narcotics as a means to survive. After the tragic deaths of his three closest friends, Yung L.A. turned away from drug dealing and back to the rap game.
